Located in the quaint town of Messersbacherhof, just minutes from the well-known Donnersberg, Mazolder Hof was birthed out of a desire to give something back to the people. Something bold, something original, something rooted in tradition.
We used the resources we had, and the help of some huge-hearted locals to make it all happen.
We're a small business with great big ideas and a passion to help others re-establish their connection with the outdoors.
Mazolder Hof offers a great place to recharge. Whether on foot, two wheels, four wheels, or four legs. We cater to all who enjoy getting outside and experiencing the beauty of mother nature.
We seem to get lost in the day to day and forget to take the time to settle down and focus on what really matters...nature, and people. We work hard to bring the two together. Through a desire to serve, entertain, and develop long lasting relationships, our hope is to give people a fresh perspective of what it means to get back to the roots!!
Mazolder Hof is a destination, rooted in traditional values, motivated by the ever-changing culture surrounding it, and devoted to branching out and connecting people from all around the world. Come and be a part of whats happening, here at THE HOF!!
Check out what's happening HERE!
Hi there! My name is Preston. I was born and raised in America. I lived in Flint, Michigan for the better part of 20 years and then moved to Bristol, New Hampshire in 2000. During a trip to Mannheim, Germany, while visiting my brother for his wedding, I met my wife Petra. 4 years later, we got married! After having 2 children, we decided it was an opportune time for us to head back to my wifes' native stomping grounds. In 2011, I moved with my wife and kids to the Odenwald near Heidelberg, Germany. There we began the process of settling in.
After a short crash course in German, it was time for Papa Bear to figure out how to get integrated...so, I went to work. Quickly learning the basics of the German language, I was able to start my own small business as a field representative/installer for some big name brands. As time went on, and my business grew, I was covering a lot of ground on the streets and highways of Western Europe.
It was in 2015 that my wife and I decided to look for a place with a little more space and a little less pace. Enter Messersbacherhof:) It wasn't until my car accident shortly after settling in to our new home, that I realized how much stress I was putting my body through. Shortly thereafter, i decided to get out of the business and try my hand at a "normal job"....needless to say, it didn't quite pan out as I had intended. After a short 2 year stint at a small woodworking company, my time had come to venture out again. It was at this point that the ideas started to roll.
I was sitting in my delapidated camping chair on a hot sunny day and noticed the different types of people that would drive through town. Cars of all kinds, bikes of all sorts, motorcycles were more than you could count. Even the horses and buggy's made their appearance along the tarmac. Seeing this, I resolved to head out on the road of riskiness and shoot towards being my own boss again. The intimidating start to a hopeful prospect, was true to not disappoint.
Now, here I am, in this new phase of life, able and ready to serve!
My heart beats for the people of the world and the many different cultures therein. I hope to be able to give back to those different peoples and cultures that have given so much to me.
Meeting great people along the way who can sharpen me on their passings through is only one of many goals I have for THE HOF!
I look forward to having you as guests, and can't wait to hear about your experiences:)
Sincerely,
P
